Amber Aten has been teaching Yoga in the Prescott area for the past 15 years.  She artfully shares the practice of yoga in a way that brings the practice off the mat and into the world of day to day living.  She believes that by holding the space for mindfulness and compassion on the mat our lives can be inspired by the perfect imperfections in us and around us.  Amber’s classes are mindful, intelligent and filled with a whole lot of heart and there is a strong focus on adapting the practice of Yoga to the individual to support the awareness of the inner wisdom of the body.

In 2003 she received her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training Certificate from Every Body’s Yoga Teacher Training, at the Arizona School for Integrative Studies in Clarkdale, AZ.  The foundation of this training was Integral Yoga with a focus on making yoga accessible to many different bodies and times of life. In 2006 she completed a 700hr Structural Yoga Therapy Training with Mukunda Stiles. This training included 300 hours Structural Yoga Therapy techniques and teaching, 300 hours body reading, anatomy, and kinesiology and 100 hours Yoga Sutras and Ayurveda.  She has completed additional studies with Mukunda Stiles in Tantric yoga practice and sadhana, as well as additional courses in manual massage and release techniques for Yoga Therapists. She is also a certified Psych-K facilitator helping clients and students to shift the subconscious beliefs that prevent them from living life in this moment to the fullest. She has been a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists since 2006.

In her time as a teacher Amber has taught over 2000 hours of Children’s Yoga, Pre & Postnatal Yoga, Gentle Yoga, All levels, Yoga Basics, Restorative, Yoga Flow, Ayurvedic Yoga Flow, Yin Yoga and Recovery yoga and has created two signature classes Yoga Bliss and Bhakti Flow.

She currently teaches workshops, Private Yoga Therapy Sessions and 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training programs and retreats.  She offers coaching programs both in a group and private settings weaving, lifestyle, mindset and spiritual fitness practices together, utilizing Yoga Therapy, REIKI, and Psych-K subconscious belief change processes for  life transforming experiences.

My name is Eliana!
I am 19 years old and have been practicing yoga for almost 3 years now. I got my 200 hr YTT in Hawaii where I was able to deepen my knowledge on how to guide people on their healing journey through yoga and meditation, allowing them to bloom into their higher selves in a safe space such as Dark Mountain Yoga! I am a passionate student of life and love connecting with others on their journeys. I enjoy teaching upbeat fun flows with funky music but also love to mellow out and teach gentle creative flows that rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. I believe in setting the space for my classes and honoring my students. This includes using essential oils often and sometimes offering hands on adjustments and small massages to truly deepen and connect to our healthier self. I look forward to expanding the light within us all through my teachings! The light, the love, the truth and the divine within me, sees, honors, loves and respects the light, the love, the truth and the divine within you ! Namaste

Greetings! My name is Abigail and I am a “masshole” by heritage, reformed by the healing properties of yoga. I am also a Massachusetts native, settler of the high desert, world traveler, nature lover, swimmer, photographer, poet, singer/song writer, sister to four, and forever student of yoga. Traditionally trained in India, yoga has taken me on a journey spanning continents as well as spaces within. Yoga has been transformative for me; healing of the body, and unifying of mind, body, and soul. I don’t exaggerate when I say it has changed my life. I sweat, laugh, and cry on the mat as often as humanly possible.
Teaching yoga is one of my greatest passions as well as responsibilities. I believe as social creatures, we humans were put here to share all that is good with one another. Yoga is for EVERYONE! It’s an honor just to be here finally doing it with the lovely yoginis of Arizona.

I am 18 years old and was born and raised in Prescott. I have been practicing yoga daily for over two years. I started practicing during a time I was experiencing significant mental stress and yoga helped me find my center and my truth, and helped heal me drastically. I am passionate about practicing and teaching yoga because helped me heal so much in all aspects of my life. I want to connect with others and help others on their healing journey through yoga. I got my 200 Hour YTT on the Big Island, Hawaii, with Full Circle Yoga. I don’t have a favorite class to teach, I am very versatile as a teacher and love to teach power classes like Vinyasa Flow or Core and also very relaxing classes such as Restorative and Yin, I enjoy having the balance of both. My hobbies are spending lots of time in nature soaking in the sunshine, spending time with animals of any kind, cooking and eating plant based foods, astrology, and reading and expanding my knowledge on yoga and plant medicines.
